Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-awareness? Working with the strengths you already have and developing healthy coping skills as well as behavioral changes, I can help you find ways to improve your present situation. Many of us face challenges that require support. My goal in treatment is to help you identify ways to successfully manage. Together we can work towards becoming your best self. I believe in short-term therapy which establishes specific goals with clients and tracks successes regularly.
I have twelve years of experience and specialize in working with individuals, families, and adolescents. I also work with grief, bereavement, and chronic illnesses such as cancer. I work with grief over the loss of animals, understanding their loss significantly impacts individuals and families.
I am fluent in Spanish and English and am competent in Hispanic cultural needs. I incorporate Yoga and Qigong meditation as tools to assist with managing stress while remaining mindful about emotions, self-talk, and behaviors. For more information, please see my profile in Psychology Today.
